9:30am - The Reims Cathedral
Before the first tasting of the day, your Sommelier or Guide will take you to one of his favorite places: The Reims Cathedral, where Kings of France used to be coronated.
(If you arrived by train from Paris, we can organize a pick-up at 9:20am in Reims city center train station , if you let us know in advance, otherwise you can walk 1Omin till the cathedral of Reims where we will start the tour)
First winery visit and delicious tastings
We will then leave Reims. You will travel in a comfortable deluxe an air-conditioned van. We will pass through beautiful Champagne vineyards and landscape till the first Champagne tasting in a Maison de Champagne or a Family Champagne estate. We will visit the reputed Champagne cellars, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will learn about the history of Champagne, the grapes used for Champagne and the making-process . You will then taste at least 3 top Champagne glasses selected by our head Sommelier. (We change wineries visited each day)
Lunch time
We will then head to Hautvillers the city where used to leave Dom Perignon (or Epernay depending on availability). You will have a 90 minutes free time for lunch. We will indicate some good traditional french restaurants and your guide will book already a table for you.
Hautvillers, the cradle of Champagne wines
We will then take The Champagne Road for a lovely drive around the Champagne countryside. Your guide is an experimented guide or a certified sommelier. He will drive you across the Champagne vineyards explain the terroirs, the vines, the biodynamic process, till the charming village of Hautvillers, Dom Perignon monk headquarter.
Second winery visit and tastings
We will stop at an authentic qualitative family wine maker and taste at least 3 delicious Champagne carefully selected by us.

.Hotel pick-up and drop-off, unless you privatise the tour
.Lunch is not included.We will have a 90 minutes break. Your guide will suggest you good option for lunch and has already booked a table for the group if you want to join.
.Gratuities: never obligatory but always welcome
. Meeting time: 9:30am from the Reims Cathedral
We can organize a pick-up at Reims train station at 9:20am if you arrive from Paris but please send us an email at least the day before to organize the pick-up. We offer as well departure from Paris for that tour. Let us know asap if you prefer that option as often sold out.
.End of the tour : 5pm at the Epernay city center train station, regional trains are direct to Reims city or Paris, very easy
. Lunch is not included in the price. For lunch time we will have a 90 minutes break. Your guide will suggest you good option for lunch and has already booked a table for the group.
. The Tour is in English but your Guide speaks fluently French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian if needed
. We visit various and different wineries everyday according to availability. All the wineries , we work with are carefully selected by our head Sommelier and are long term partners.
. Legal minimum drinking age is 18 years old
. Children or non drinkers guests can join the tour. They will have to buy a non drinker ticket. Please let us know before the number of children joining the tour to arrange the safety seats which are limited in numbers.
. The tour involves a small easy walk. Wineries have foot steps and no elevator. The van can fit a wheelchair in the back.
. Please look up the weather forecasts before the tour as Burgundy can be hot in the Summer and rainy and during Winter very cold. Cellar temperatures are always around 50F/10C. Jaket, umbrella, good shoes are recommended.
. Cancellation policy: 7days or less before the tour no refund. 8 days or more before the tour, we refund 100% of the ticket (Booking fees and payment fees won’t be refunded around 5% ). Check our full cancellation policy at the bottom of the website page.
