About the Half day Champagne tour departing from Epernay

If you want to learn more about Wine, you are in the right place! During an afternoon we will show you the best of Champagne and its sparkling wine on board of our air-conditioning comfortable van.

We will meet in front of the 5, Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, easily accessible by train from Paris and Reims.

During the 3 hours we will spend together, we will:
– Visit a family wine estate in the heart of Champagne, understand the making process of Champagne and enjoy 3 delicious different Champagne
– Stop in the lovely village of Hautvillers where Dom Perignon used to live
– Chill out in the UNESCO vineyards of Champagne and take beautiful pictures
– Stop at the Avenue de Champagne headquarter of the prestigious Moët & Chandon or Perrier Jouet

This is a must do experience, you will remember forever. The experience can be privatise for special events as Hen/stag party, birthday party, team building (up to 24 guests).

End of the tour around 5pm at the Avenue de Champagne/Epernay train station, direct to Paris, Reims or Chalon en Champagne.

. The Tour is in English but your Sommelier speaks fluently French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian if needed

. Legal minimum drinking age is 18 years old
. Children or non drinkers Guests can join the tour. They will have to buy a non drinker ticket with a 20euros discount on the regular ticket. Please contact us to get the non drinker ticket. Please let us know before the number of children joining the tour to arrange the safety seats which are limited in numbers.
. The tour involves a small easy walk. The van can fit a wheelchair in the back
. Please look up the weather forecasts before the tour as Champagne can be hot in the Summer and sometimes rainy and cold, rainy and windy in the Winter. Cellar temperatures are always around 50F/10C. So Jaket, umbrella, good shoes are recommended.

. 2pm in front of the 5, Avenue de Champagne – 51200 Epernay
. 1:45pm : If you need it, a first pick up can be organised at Epernay train station at 13:45 => In this case, please send us an email at info@winetoursparis.com before the tour to let us know where to meet you

End of the tour:
. 5pm at the Avenue de Champagne or Epernay train station, regional trains are direct to Reims city or Paris
